Established in the 1970s, White Otter Outdoor Adventures is one of central Idaho's premiere outfitting operations for activities on the water. Its half-day and full-day whitewater rafting trips along the Snake and Salmon Rivers are highly popular seasonal activities, and gentle oar boat rides for groups with young children are also available. Offering standard rentals of everything from rafts to kayaks to fishing equipment, it also offers classes in kayaking, raft guiding workshops, and even food planning services for multi-day whitewater escapades. Its headquarters lie in the heart of town, near Knob Hill Park.
